Christmas is right around the corner and shopping can be overwhelming at times. There are so many toys and gadgets out there that your head starts to spin while you shop for your children. With that in mind got an early jump on shopping for my daughters, nieces, and nephews.already found some awesome gifts for them.
the perfect Christmas gift for a toddler isn't as easy as you think it is. There are numerous factors to consider when buying an awesome present for your little one or someone else's little one. You need to take a quick inventory of what the child already has and what they want/need.
Stomp Rocket
These stomp rockets are SO MUCH FUN. Just slide a rocket onto the launcher and jump – and your rocket will go flying into the air. These puppies go really high! We bought a set years ago and used it over and over and over…and recently finally replaced it.
Card Sleeve Pocket
Card sleeves might not be the obvious choice for a fun present, but if your kids are into baseball cards or Pokemon cards, card sleeves are a great gift. We’ve purchased lots of Pokemon cards secondhand (check craigslist), so my kids have been able to build up a large collection.
Elenco Snap Circuits
Snap circuits are pretty darn cool – each set comes with a variety of components that can be snapped together in different combinations to build electronic projects. A guide book shows kids how to create a dual speed fan, flashing laser light, photo sensor police siren, electronic games, and more.
Art Supplies
These can range from modeling clay, finger paints, and tempera to more sophisticated items such as pastels and sketching supplies. Many craft stores have easel kits on special this time of year that come with paints.
Activity Books
These come in varieties to suit all age levels, from the jumbo coloring and connect the dots books you can find for a buck (paired with some inexpensive crayons), to word search and other puzzle books.
